Trek, giant, jamison, and specialized bikes?

All of the bikes mentioned are very similar in both geometry and components with only slight variations. You are going to find people who will swear by one brand or another, but since you already have it narrowed down to five bikes, the question is, did you ride any of them?
They may all look the same and cost the same and have similar components, but they are each going to have their own feel. Disk brakes are different than the standard brakes. Pick-up the bike and see if it is too heavy or just really weird balance when carrying it. Hop on it and see how comfortable your are. You have to like how it feels and handles.
All of the bikes you listed are good choices, so you body and gut will tell you which bike to buy.

as he said^ they are similar in geometry ….this is because giant makes all of the frames for these bikes except the hard rock..but that being said the trek is kickass said and done lol
